Cafeind Espresso Frenzy is borne from a long development history, with the aim of producing a product specifically for use in commercial espresso machines and the cafe environment.
Traditionally, lower latitude Australian coffees have not been particularly suited for use in espresso, due to the washed processing methods employed. Such methods highlight brightness and cup acidity, which do not necessarily translate well to espresso.
By utilising coffees produced with the Dry Natural processing method, which emphasises body and sweetness, we have developed a product specifically suited to espresso. These coffees are blended back with the traditional washed process and semi-washed process coffees, to deliver a truly exciting espresso blend. They feature an abundant body, natural sweetness and a chocolate and vanilla flavour profile, wholly unique to the region.
Cafeind Plunja Sublime has been developed for those who prefer their coffee in the easier to prepare plunger, dripper and percolator methods.
The Plunja Sublime blend has been selected to emphasise the more delicate and subtle flavour profile of the traditional regional washed coffees, with added complexity and sweetness provided by the addition of Dry Natural and Semi Washed coffees.
The effect is a relatively bright and complex nature with lots of body and the chocolate, vanilla and fruity flavour profile that you just can’t find in imported commercial blends. A truly unique and tantalising experience!
